Funding for local environmental schemes Following four successful years of running the Sustainable Development Fund in the North Devon, the North Devon AONB team are pleased to announce that they will be running the fund for 2009/10
The primary aim of the fund is to meet and promote the objectives of the North Devon AONB and this year we are keen to support projects that promote the 50th anniversary of the AONB designation. Community and voluntary groups, public sector bodies and businesses are all welcome to apply to the fund which can cover up to 75% of total project cost up to £10,000. Small, projects requiring up to £2000 are especially encouraged to apply, but larger grants may be considered for worthy schemes.
To qualify, projects must meet the following criteria:
- Promote the AONB’s vision and goals
- Be sustainable
- Show how they can benefit the AONB
- Have the support of the local community
If you are interested in applying for a grant please first look at the
