Can you pack a perfect pasty, make a quirky quiche or produce a splendid sponge or fabulous fruit cake? The BIG Sheep is looking to showcase North Devon's culinary cooks at their Deliciously Devon Day, which will be held at the famous family attraction on Saturday 13th September from 10am to 5pm. This is a great opportunity for community groups to raise money for their favourite charity and tables for produce will be provided FREE of charge for amateur cook's who would like to come along and sell their wares on the day. The BIG Sheep will also be holding a fun competition "Deliciously Devon Dish of the Day" and are inviting everyone who takes a stall on the day to enter one of their favourite home cooked dishes to be judged by their panel of celebrity judges. Entrants can cook whatever they like for the competition and may be crowned the winner of a Deliciously Devon Dish of the Day! Tables will be provided FREE OF CHARGE on a first come basis. The age-old tradition of catching lobsters and crabs at Clovely still flourishes and we thought it worth celebrating, so this year we are holding our first lobster and crab feast. There’ll be a Seafood kitchen on the quay, recipes, crab preparation demonstration, children’s cookery class, Lobster Quadrille, prize draw, wine tasting, food & craft stalls, scavenger hunt, live music, mask making, balloon modelling and magic show.
