This newly released by The Story of Stuff Project takes a sweeping look at the man-made crisis of plastic pollution and the  worldwide effect it has on the health of our planet.

Spanning three  continents, the film illustrates the ongoing catastrophe: fields full of garbage, veritable mountains  of trash, rivers and seas clogged with waste, and skies choked with the poisonous emissions  from plastic production and processing. With engaging original animation, archival industry  footage beginning in the 1930s, and first-person accounts of the unfolding emergency, the film  distills a complex problem that is increasingly affecting the planet’s and its residents’ well-being.

Attendees will receive a link to stream the film from the us around 72  hours before the event start time. The link will be  delivered to you at the email address you use to RSVP here.   You are welcome to reconvene at  7:30pm on the 29th June on zoom for a panel / discussion / Q&A with which will be led by Adam Hall (Head of sustainability for Surfdome and Claire Moodie  – CEO at Plastic Free North Devon.
