David Kennard Shepherd David Kennard farms on the rugged coast of North Devon. In 2002 he made a video about a year in the life of his farm, focussing on his team of working collies, which was an instant success. David has since gone on to write books and make ‘Mist the Movie’ www.mistthemovie.co.uk and he is a highly sought after speaker. Robin Mellor Photographer, teacher, writer and North Devon resident. Much of Robin’s writing is for children and he has been widely published in anthologies and educational books. He also teaches photography and Photoshop techniques to adult evening classes. Length of time as a Champion: Since March 2007 Activities for the AONB to date: Judge of the AONB’s 2007 Poetry Competition A poetry reading and awarding of prizes for the AONB Poetry Competition on National Poetry Day 2007 Poetry reading and workshop at The Discovery Day on Sunday 16th March 2007 at the Milky Way Adventure Park. |

Trevor Beer Trevor Beer is a naturalist, and wildlife and countryside writer and broadcaster for several newspapers and magazines including a daily column in the Western Morning News, now in its 15th year.
